Celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King.

I have a dream!

Dr. King’s birthday is January 15, however the federal holiday is celebrated today, Monday, January 19, 2015.

Let’s all take a moment to reflect upon the great Civil Rights leader who fought for all Americans rights that transcends the world over.

Let us apply his beliefs, ideas in all racial, religious, cultural and ethnic matters as this day is celebrated by millions around the world.

Human progress is neither automatic nor inevitable… Every step toward the goal of justice requires sacrifice, suffering, and struggle; the tireless exertions and passionate concern of dedicated people.

  1. Good post. For a long time I didn’t realize Dr. King was campaigning for my women’s rights as well. Please go back and read Vagina, Boobs, and Poop, Part 12 again. The previous post was incomplete. Thanks for liking anyway.
