In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Local Flavor.”
Write a piece about a typically “local” experience from where you come from as though it’s an entry in a travel guide.
The Southwest Florida sunsets, are a natural phenomenon that occurs daily and they are a special sight during the winter months as thousands of Snow-birders arrive escaping the harsh winters.
Because of the shorter day light hours, many arrive after an afternoon slumber to bask in the warmth of 75 – 85 degree temperatures with a slight breeze always blowing, to view the end of a gloriously beautiful day.
This is daily local flavor that attracts many Snow-birds to the beach every evening.
Thank you so much for your comment. :-)
