In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Time Capsule.”
What would you put in this year’s time capsule to channel the essence of our current moment for future generations?
the items placed in the time capsule dated 2015 with an opening date of 2999, will include a selfie stick, several newspapers from around the world, a smart phone, photos of the earth from an orbiting Satellite. A laptop computer with a list of various time capsules from around the world and their contents.
Upon opening the time capsule, the instructions will be to immediately take a selfie and up load to social media. The time capsule will be buried at the South Pole and is scheduled to be opened exactly at the same time as the Chinook Center Time Capsule in Calgary Alberta, Dec 29, 2999.
