“Happily Ever After”

In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Happily Ever After.”

“And they lived happily ever after.” Think about this line for a few minutes. Are you living happily ever after? If not, what will it take for you to get there?

The term “Happily Ever After” is synonymous with Walt Disney movies, however, the reality of everyday living uniquely defines the phrase with many variations.

For me, living happily ever after is what I have achieved, beginning with awakening every morning above ground, with heart pumping and eyes blinking. The phrase is reflected in my ability to write a blog, build a poem, a short story, and creatively write my thoughts designed in my creative mind.

Understanding my past, current and future opportunities available before me allows me to live happily ever after.
