“Symbol”

In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Symbol.”

This week, share a symbol with us, and tell us what it means to you.

This Rooster is a symbol of Key West and any visitor who travels around town will work hard to avoid them as they dart out into the roadway. This particular Rooster spent his Sunday morning protecting his hen displaying an act of chivalry as old as humanity.

His colorful plumage offers a complete portrait as a symbol of Key West Florida.

My husband and I spent two weeks on a road trip from our home in Chattanooga (NoogaStrong!) heading to our Key West destination, and I think we saw this very rooster strutting his stuff ~ you captured the colors so beautifully!
