In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Community Service.”
Your entire community — however, you define that; your hometown, your neighborhood, your family, your colleagues — is guaranteed to read your blog tomorrow. Write the post you’d like them all to see.
I understand this daily prompt is to solicit my response to explain how great I am. But, my duties, as a father, my service to my community and country, have repeatedly reflected in the awards, certificates and letters of appreciation, I have received through the years. However, my love I share with my family, friends, and hundreds of people, I have met along my journey cannot be matched or equaled.
It is my current journey as a pre-published writer, blogger, photographer, and poet, I look forward to the future with joy and happiness of unknown communities to experience.
