“The Fun Platform”

In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “The Fun Platform.”

If you were the new leader of your country and had the chance to transform something that’s currently an annoyance (or worse) into a very fun activity, what would it be? How would you go about the change, and why would you choose that particular thing?

I’m a current board member of the Southwest Florida Beach Bum Association, we have no annoyances because stress is not allowed.

Every fall new applicants who are mostly snowbirds want to be part of the well knows loosely established association.

Established members encourage semi-retired not to conduct business with their laptop computers at the beach. For retirees, members this is not a problem.

Members who walk the beaches hand out the following card to remind new members.

Section 1.4: The only electronic device used at the beach is for reading or listening to music.

Repeated violations will cause their 50% happy hour discounts cards to become voided.

    1. Snowbird season sign ups begin Oct 15 and continue monthly at Fort Myers beach.

Certifications are held monthly on the causeway to Sanibel Island, two todays after signups.

          1. Smart man!! I skipped all the aforementioned by living life by the seat of my pants (I wish) but I’m seriously considering relocating to SC. The winters here just seem to drag on and on during the last few years.
