“Connect the Dots”

In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Connect the Dots.”

Scour the news for an entirely uninteresting story. Consider how it connects to your life. Write about that.

The scheduled J.N. Ding Darling Days will take place October 18-25 2015, which is located on Sanibel Island in Florida.

Many people will not be interested in this event unless you live nearby. However, this is the beginning of the human snowbird season in Southwest Florida.

I will attend capturing photos of the feathered snowbirds arriving to spend the winter in the marshes, mangroves and costal lands of Southwest Florida.

This event will connect the “DOTs,” as I post photos of the wildlife to my site for you to view. You will enjoy the pictures, inspiring you to visit your local, state or national park to take in the beauty of nature.

When you visit your park, this will ease your stress level while improving your life with family and friends, so you connect the dots to pay it forward.

  1. Maybe while you photograph the feathered variety, I will photo-capture the human snowbirds as they migrate down here in their sporty SUVs. In all seriousness though, visiting the parks during the winter months is all I do! Thanks for the reminder though! 🙂
