Our days are organized around numerous small actions we repeat over and over. What’s your favorite daily ritual?
Usually, before the sun rises, a simple ritual for me is to enjoy a walk along the beach listening to the waves easily lap against the shoreline, while smelling the scent of the ocean.
However, the recent winter cold temperatures reaching into southwest Florida has stymied my morning walks along the beach. Now, my ritual is to open the door to my lanai feeling the atmosphere to determine my intention for walking.
The above photo is of the beach I walk and it warms my heart looking at the photo knowing I will walk the beach again but, not today, its way too cold. 🙂
