Dividing time for Parents.

Dividing time for Children.

Dividing time for a Spouse.

Dividing time for Work.

Dividing time for Hobbies.

Dividing time for doing Nothing

For the past ten days, I have not posted any blogs. However, I have read a couple of competing novels I have wanted to read for the past six months, and I have completed the finishing touches on several short stories for submissions to writing journals and residency programs.
When this blog post prompt was posted I twice began to respond when I was inspired to write, revise and edit several short stories.

Dividing and sharing time between my creative and outdoor hobbies is important, however, making an active attempt to share eases the feeling of anxiety that emerges when I’m enjoying one and not the other.

Today I will organize my thoughts for blogs posts, so I can later in the day to divide my time enjoying the beach to fish and photograph the wildlife and a sunset.

Division can be one of the best things in life.

  1. Dividing the time. Yes, this is the question of the day. As I read your posts, I can see, even for you, as retired, the question still remains. I too have been “off the grid” for a week. considering this same question. How to “divide” the time between the have to do and this can wait. I love reading your post because, the answer of waiting until retirement is not the answer. Retirement provides more choices of “dividing up” the time!! I do know, I have missed visiting my new friends and blogging neighbors when I stay away too long. Each has become a part of my life. Woven into the fabric of what drives my heart and spirit, writing and sharing, about the love of God. May you continue to be blessed with good health and may you prosper in your way, as you enjoying “dividing up’ your time with the things you enjoy doing and your friends and neighbors here in this blogging world we call WordPress:) blessings friend! denise
