It is a daily, occurrence when all have second thoughts on everything from what to wear, what to eat, which way to go to work or going to work.
Dale and Beverly are husband and wife laying in bed just before the alarm activated when Beverly asked, should we go to work?
Dale’s eyes increased to the size of golf balls as he tried to understand what his wife of 43-years had just asked him. Since the beginning of their marriage, she has been a symbol of discipline never wavering from routine.
Stuttering, he asked are you serious? Beverly, says of course.
Dale’s thoughts drift to considering other things he could do with a day off from work.
Beverly, interrupts Dale’s smiling face telling him, “today is Sunday, were going to church, honey.”
Dale’s, thoughts’ are quickly erased and confirmed when the alarm clock radio activates with its annoying buzzing sound.
Second thoughts are no more.
