As many of people navigate the holiday season, and begin the new year. Many will question their efforts, “when good isn’t good enough.”
My standards vary depending on the subject matter. After spending 5 minutes cleaning my car, I will step back, notice the remaining dirt and declare, it’s good enough. After all it’s better than it was! When I chop veggies for soup, I get bored. I decide they will become mushy anyways. I stop dicing because, it’s good enough. Some mornings I cut my workout short, convincing myself, that’s good enough. As I walk to my locker, I get an uncomfortable feeling because, I know it wasn’t.Our days are so busy!It’s hard to know where and when we should give it our all. Is it even possible to do 100% all the time? Is it necessary? What areas of your life require a higher level of excellence?
