“Wedding Invitations,”

d65a9cea40ee4cb98184ea3f843585bc

I attended two weddings accompanied by my special someone who excited my mother with the possibilities of our marriage one day. When my mom attended the second wedding, she discovered my special someone passionately kissing one of the groomsmen the relationship ended.

I was a groomsman at the third marriage, and my mother was my plus one which will never happen again. I love my mom beyond all measure. However, she spent the entire wedding interviewing every single woman as a possible mate for her youngest of four.

Today in the mail, I received another wedding invitation from a co-worker for a total of four within the past six months, and I returned the invitation acknowledging only one.

I’m attending this wedding in search of someone to offer an invitation to meet again, however not at a wedding.
