That location is East Totten Trail Campgrounds, which is part of the Core of Engineers campgrounds system located near the city of Coleharbor, North Dakota, in McLean County. The town was founded in 1904 and has a population of under 100 people.

The campground is a part of Sakakaweha Lake, but my site overlooks Lake Audubon providing incredible landscape photos of the sunrise and moon.

Each campsite provides a picnic table fire rings, electricity with no sewer and water, and dump is available. There were lots of people fishing from boats and kayaks, and the campground offers a fish cleaning station. To reserve a site, check out the Recration.gov website link.

I used the manual settings of my Nikon D7200 for all of the photos I captured manipulating the aperture, shutter speed, ISO, and white balance. The campground is a serene location, and I really enjoyed my time at campsite #13, mixing writing and photography before continuing west.
